Dried Fish Fry
Ingredients:
- Dried fish medium sized - 2
- Mustard seeds - 1 Tsp
- Chilli powder-1/2 Tsp
- Red chilli - 3 nos
Small Onion -9- Tomato -1
- Curry leaves-1 Spring
- Oil -3 Tbsp
Method:
- First clean and cut the fish into small pieces.
If you have very hard dried fish pieces and then place those pieces to 50 ml hot water for 20 mins. After 20 mins ,soaked pieces becomes flexible. You can make small pieces with your Hand .And keep it aside with water.- Add oil in a pan. When the oil gets heated add Mustard seeds, curry leaves and red chilli.
- When it is Spluttered, add chopped onion and fry it till it becomes golden brown.
And then add finely chopped tomato fry for 5 mins- If tomatoes becomes soft and then add chilli powder fry it for 2 mins.
- And then add dried fish pieces with water not too much water
- Mix every thing and fry it for 10 min in low flame. After that Nice Aroma will come then the dish is ready.
- Fry until the moisture becomes dried and turn off the flame.
- Don't add salt the dish .Because the dried fish has too much salt in it.
- Serve with Rasam rice or sambar rice or variety of rice.
