Pea Nut Rice
Ingredients
- Curry leaves – few
- Peanut – 1 tablespoon
- Peanut ( – 1 cup
- White Til seeds – 1/4 cup
- Red Chillies – 6 to 7
- Asafoetida – A small piece
- Salt – 3/4 teaspoon or as per taste
- Cooked Rice – 1 big bowl
Method
- Peanut powder
- In a pan the peanuts and dry fry till it is hot to touch& Remove. Then put the til seeds and dry fry till it starts crackling& Remove.
- In pan put the asafetida and red chillies and fry just for few seconds and remove.
- Cool it and put everything together with salt and grind it to a coarse powder.
- Just add the peanut powder to the cooked rice and mix it well. Garnish with peanuts and curry leaves.
- If you want, you can add a teaspoon of oil and a pinch of salt while mixing the rice.
