Almond Flavored Milk

Ingredients
  • Sugar - 2 1/2 tbsp or as needed
  • Cardamom Powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Saffron - 3 strands
  • Almonds - 18
  • Milk -2 1/2 cup (1/2 liter)
  • Pistachio -3 
  • Cashew nuts -2
Preparation 
  1. Boil milk. Soak the saffron strands in 1/4 cup of hot milk.
  2. Dry roast the Pistachio,2 Almonds, Cashew nuts slightly and powder it. Keep it aside.
  3. Soak almonds in hot water for 1/2 an hour. Peel the skin and grind it with a little milk slightly coarse.
  4. Boil the remaining milk on medium heat stirring continuously until it reduces a little.
  5. Add the saffron soaked milk, ground almond paste, cardamom powder and sugar needed.
  6. Boil on medium heat for a few more minutes stirring continuously. Add the prepared powder, mix well and cook for a further 2-3 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and serve hot. You can garnish with a saffron strand and sprinkle the powder we prepared.
  8. Once it cools, refrigerate and serve chilled.
