Almond Flavored Milk
Ingredients
- Sugar - 2 1/2 tbsp or as needed
- Cardamom Powder - 1/4 tsp
- Saffron - 3 strands
- Almonds - 18
- Milk -2 1/2 cup (1/2 liter)
- Pistachio -3
- Cashew nuts -2
Preparation
- Boil milk. Soak the saffron strands in 1/4 cup of hot milk.
- Dry roast the Pistachio,2 Almonds, Cashew nuts slightly and powder it. Keep it aside.
- Soak almonds in hot water for 1/2 an hour. Peel the skin and grind it with a little milk slightly coarse.
- Boil the remaining milk on medium heat stirring continuously until it reduces a little.
- Add the saffron soaked milk, ground almond paste, cardamom powder and sugar needed.
- Boil on medium heat for a few more minutes stirring continuously. Add the prepared powder, mix well and cook for a further 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve hot. You can garnish with a saffron strand and sprinkle the powder we prepared.
- Once it cools, refrigerate and serve chilled.
