Paal Kozhukattai

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup - Rice flour
  • 1 cup - Coconut milk
  • 1 cup -Sugar
  • 1 cup - Water
  • 1 cup - milk
  • 2 Tbsp - Cardamom 
  • 1 tsp Ghee
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
Method
  1. Boil a cup of water with salt & ghee.
  2. Add boiling water little by little to the rice flour.Keep stirring using spoon without any lumps till it forms a dough consistency.
  3. Knead the dough gently & rest it for 5 mins.
  4. Grease your palm with little oil & make small balls like gooseberry from the dough.Rest it for 5-7 mins.
  5. Steam the rice balls for above 5 mins in idly plate or in steamer.
  6. In a pan boil 2 cups of milk and add 1 cup of coconut milk,sugar and rice balls, allow it boil for 10 mins in medium flame.
  7. When the balls float on top add cardamom powder & turn off the stove.
  8. Can be served Hot or Chill.
