Mutton Pepper Soup
Ingredients
- Mutton With Bones - 1/2 kg
- Tomato - 1 No
- Oil - 1 Tbsp
- Water - 3 Cups
- Sliced Shallots - 10 No or Big Onion - 2 No
- Crushed Black Pepper Corns -2 Tsp
- Cumin Powder - 1 Tsp
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Tsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1/4 Tsp
- Chopped Coriander leaves - 2 Tbsp
- Salt to Taste
Preparations
- Clean and wash the Mutton well and keep it aside,
- Slice the Onions and cut the Tomato into small pieces
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add the mutton pieces into it and cook for 2 mins.
- After that add 1/4 Tsp Turmeric powder, Sliced Onions, 1 Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste and salt as per taste and cook for 1 min.
- After 1 min add the chopped Tomato, 2 Tsp Crushed Pepper Corn, 1Tsp Cumin Powder and 1 Tbsp Coriander leaves and mix well.
- And then add 3 cups of water and cover with the lid and cook for 5 to 6 whistles in medium flame.
- After 5 or 6 whistles switch off the flame and wait for the pressure releases.
- Only open the lid after all the pressure released, and cook again for 10 mins in low flame without lid.
- If the mutton is cooked well then switch off the flame. Mutton soup is ready now.
- Garnish with 1 Tbsp Chopped Coriander and Serve hot (add salt and pepper if you need)
