In a pressure cooker heat 3 Tbsp Ghee/Butter, add ½ cup rice, ½ cup moong dal and sauté until it turns aromatic.
And then add lightly crushed Pepper , minced Ginger ,Cashews, Cumin Seeds, a pinch of Asafetida and salt .Sauté for a minute and then add 3 to 3 1/2 Cup of Water
Close the cooker with a lid and do not put on the weight yet.
After steam is visible ,put the weight onto the pressure cooker, then keep the flame low for 20 minutes, or for 2 whistles, then switch off the flame.
After the pressure releases, open the cooker and give a good mix.
