Garam masala
Ingredients
- Coriander seeds-1/2 cup
- Cumin Seeds-1/4cup
- Cinnamon sticks-9 pieces
- Cloves-2Tbsp
- Tejpatta leaves-10
- Black cardamom-10
- Small cardamom-2Tbsp
- Black pepper-2Tbsp
- Dry ginger-1piece
- Nutmeg-1
Method
- Keep whole spices in sun for 2 days (optional).
- Grind dry ginger first then add broken cinnamon sticks and nutmeg.
- Grind as a fine powder and keep it aside.
- Now add the rest of the spices and grind to a powder.
- Mix both the spice powder and store it in a air tight container.
