Garam masala

Ingredients
  • Coriander seeds-1/2 cup
  • Cumin Seeds-1/4cup
  • Cinnamon sticks-9 pieces
  • Cloves-2Tbsp
  • Tejpatta leaves-10
  • Black cardamom-10
  • Small cardamom-2Tbsp
  • Black pepper-2Tbsp
  • Dry ginger-1piece
  • Nutmeg-1
Method
  1. Keep whole spices in sun for 2 days (optional).
  2. Grind dry ginger first then add broken cinnamon sticks and nutmeg.
  3. Grind as a fine powder and keep it aside.
  4. Now add the rest of the spices and grind to a powder.
  5. Mix both the spice powder and store it in a air tight container.
