Pumpkin Soup

Ingredients:
  • Salt as per taste
  • Black salt as per taste
  • Roasted cumin powder as per taste
  • 2 tsp Butter
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Coconut milk 
  • 1 Small piece of ginger
  • 2-3 Cloves
  • 1 Onion sliced
  • 1/4 kg Red pumpkin sliced
Method:
  1. Wash and remove the skin of pumpkin and slice it.Peel the onion and slice it
  2. Add butter in a pan, add the cloves, saute for a minute.
  3. Add onion and saute till it changes the color little bit.
  4. Add pumpkin slices and saute the same with little salt till soft.
  5. Allow to cool. Grind it in mixer with 1 cup of water. 
  6. Transfer it into a pan and boil the same. Check the salt,
  7. Add black salt, roasted cumin powder and the coconut milk.
  8. Serve with chopped mint leavesMix well and remove from the gas. Do not boil after adding coconut milk. Consistency should not be watery.
