Mango Rice

Ingredients
  • Oil -  2 tbsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Turmeric powder - a pinch
  • Coriander leaves
  • Curry leaves
  • Green Chillies - 2
  • Red Chillies - 2
  • Ginger - small amount (chopped)
  • Channa Dal - 1 tsp
  • Urad Dal - 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  • Mango - 1 cup (Grated)
  • Basmati rice - 1 cup (cooked)
Method
  1. Heat oil in a pan, pop mustard seeds, Urad dal and Channa dal.
  2. Add Chopped ginger, Red chillies , Green chillies, Curry leaves and Turmeric powder.
  3. Add Grated Mango, Salt and saute well till mango is tender.
  4. Add Cooked rice and mix well.
  5. Garnish with Coriander leaves. Mango rice is ready to be served.
