Homemade curd tips
Ingredients
- Boiled Milk-1cup
- Lemon juice-2 tbsp
Preparation
- Boil milk in a pan and switch off. Leave it to cool.
- Milk should be in room temperature.
- Add lemon juice and mix well.
- The curd will set within 5-6 hours under favorable conditions.
- Refrigerate once the curd sets.
- It becomes firm after 2-3 hours of refrigeration. If you leave the curd outside for a long time, it will become sour.
- If the milk is hot or too cool, it will not set into curd or your curd will be watery.
- Instead of Lemon juice we can use curd.
